Thanks for visiting my website,
I've been a freelance portrait photographer hobbyist since September of 2006.
I'm also a Business Owner, Muscular Therapist and mom.
When I was twelve years old I bought my first camera. I immediately fell in love with pointing, shooting and capturing the moments around me.
I'm the youngest of a large family and had a lot of nieces and nephews who loved being my models. The forests and fields of West Wareham were my backdrop. In between shooting photos I built tree forts and picked blueberries from wild bushes in my backyard. Nature and children became the theme of my work by the time I was 20.
My nieces and nephews are all grown up now. Occasionally they call me for photo shoots, their beautiful faces are still part of my portfolio.
When I was twenty-one I left my hometown and moved to Mannheim Germany. I traveled, gardened, cooked and explored my way through Europe with a camera in hand at all times. In Germany I had the opportunity to volunteer with a business owner/photographer who introduced me to Ansel Adams, 35mm and the dark room. I left 35mm behind when I left Europe, Digital photography is a great tool and prefer to work with it.
In 2006 My son was born. On his fifth day of life I shot his newborn session on fluffy white blankets with natural sunlight pouring through the windows. I ordered the prints from a local professional print shop. The woman behind me in line caught a glance of the 8x10, loved it, asked for my contact information and hired me for my first photo shoot.
Photography has been part of my life for over 20 years.
My photography is honest, natural and colorful. I specialize in working with clients who are typically camera shy. My mission is to set you at ease in order to create the best portraits of your lifetime.
I currently live and work in Plymouth Ma , If my unique style matches yours I hope to hear from you soon.
